Lisa has been amazing at helping me and my six-year old rescue dog, Buster, who is a very sensitive boy and anxious about people, other dogs and anything new. She has been helping us with general walking behaviours (loose lead walking, recall and reactivity) as well as car and muzzle training. Buster does not trust people easily and I am really impressed with how Lisa has built a relationship with him by reading his body language and always ensuring she works at his pace.

I highly recommend Lisa as a dog trainer, this is my second time having her come out to me during our puppy sessions. She has been amazing and really helpful. I have a large labradoodle who is very stubborn but with Lisa’s help and advice I feel we are finally making some progress. She makes you realise the little things that you could be doing are not necessarily the right thing and makes you see things from the dogs point of view.

Lisa really helped me behave myself when I was trying my hardest to make my new owners feel useless. I wouldn’t eat regularly, walk nicely and I often pretended not to know my name (Peggy). 🤣 What fun I had, but now when I behave I get chicken, sausage, ham and lots of love & cuddles, much more fun! Can’t rate Lisa highly enough she’s been a god send helping with Louis’s puppy training, ( in person and via zoom) and Evie’s socialisation and loose lead walking. We continue to use Lisa for training walks where she takes our babies out individually and works on their individual needs. We really see the difference once they’ve been out with her. We’ve always had dogs we’ve ‘inherited’ never actively sought out so when we were looking for new additions to the family we knew exactly what we wanted and the breed that would suit our experience and lifestyle all was all going great till the eldest hit adolescence things were great in the house lots of training, playtime and cuddles but our walks were far from relaxing and enjoyable. Evie started pulling, ignoring recalls and making strange noises round other dogs....... cue Lisa who worked out a training plan with us, with a mix of sessions at home, on walks and using stooge dogs and some training for hubby and I too. Now we’re back to enjoying our walks and have the relationship with our fur babies that we were hoping for. Our babies get really excited when they see Lisa’s van turn up and can’t wait to get out the door to see her and always come back from their walks (she sends us photos and videos after to show us what they’ve been up too) looking like they’ve enjoyed themselves

Lisa has been helping us train our Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy over the past few months. She is extremely skilled at training dogs, but in a way that doesn't make us feel intimidated or patronised. She is kind and down to earth and has been a huge source of wisdom with all of the questions we've had as first time dog owners. Lisa goes above and beyond in so many ways and we're really really grateful to have come across Dolittles.

We started puppy classes with Lisa with our springer puppy Stan. We loved the classes. So much content and the time always flew past. When Stan developed some unusual behaviours quite suddenly she not only did a load of research with her colleagues to get information to us, she also supplied support and reassurance to us as owners too. We are now serial ‘Dolittles ’ and will be taking part in as much training and opportunities to bond with Stan as Lisa can provide. 100% recommended without hesitation

I have had several sessions with Lisa now due to my Dalmatian becoming reactive to other dogs. Lisa has been absolutely amazing and I've noticed such a difference in Domino's behaviour over the last few months. Lisa helped not only Domino but me aswell, guided me on things I was doing wrong and made me fall in love with walking with my dog again. I will never go to anyone else for help and advice again 🥰

Lisa was recommended to us to improve our lead walking of our young Rhodesian Ridgeback Narla. We have done a 1-2-1 session and also Grade 1 & 2 IMDT Partnership Awards. We cannot recommend her highly enough for her skill, experience, patience and humour. Narla & I have learnt so much from Lisa and her team of Maggie and Lewis and they have made it so rewarding and above all fun.

We recently enlisted the help of Lisa to assist us in helping our dog overcome her anxiety/fear of travelling in our campervan. We’ve had a few sessions, and we’ve gone from a dog that previously was vocal, shaking and panting uncontrollably to a dog that lies all the way down, calmly, for a longish journey. I never thought I’d see the day! Would absolutely recommend ☺️

Lisa was recommended to us when we were looking for a training school to get our Boxer to walk on lead, and have some piece of mind with recall etc. We started with a couple of 1-2-1 sessions, completed the puppy classes and more recently the Grade 1 IMDT partnership award, and have registered for the Grade 2 course. Lisa, Maggie and Lewis have made the learning experience a pleasure, and Our Boxer Poppy has improved massively in her lead walking and her recall, but the training for Poppy and me didn’t stop there. You learn so much more such as how to make the visit to the Vet more comfortable for you and your dog. If you are looking to learn how to train your dog, and make owning your dog a real pleasure then I really recommend you give Lisa and her team a call.

Lisa was great! In just two sessions (one virtually) she gave us some really good tips and training tricks to help with our young, stubborn and easily frustrated puppy. She could explain his behaviour in a way that made us understand his thought processes, and gave us lots of simple exercises to try. Looking forward to joining one of Dolittle’s group courses soon!

Lisa and Maggies's puppy classes were good fun, really informative and lots of tips to take home. I've also had some 1:1 sessions for my anxious 3yr old Ridgeback which have helped enormously, especially recognising doggy body language that I would have missed. I would highly recommend Lisa at Dolittles for your dog training needs. I was having problems with my dog pulling on the lead and being reactive to other dogs. Lisa gave me good advice and demonstrated techniques that I could use that worked for us. The kind teaching methods suited me and my dog and explanation of these methods enabled me to use and adapt strategies for any situation. I now have the tools and knowledge to make our walks enjoyable.

Lisa has been absolutely amazing helping us with our puppy. Because of some ear infections at an early age our dog had become very nervous of us touching her ears and head. Lisa supported us in “consent” training, gently building up trust with our pup. Some of those early memories of our dog being like that that are now a distant memory. I am able to clean and touch her ears every single day - thanks to Lisa! She really has helped us so much as a family and would highly recommend her to anyone.

Highly recommend Lisa to anyone that’s looking for someone to help with their dogs behaviour in any way. Our German shepherd became reactive towards dogs after having a phantom pregnancy and even though we’ve still got a lot of work to do, Lisa started doing stooge sessions with us to teach me the best ways to deal with Xena and provided me with all the information I needed to carry on alone. Lisa will always check in with you even when you’ve stopped sessions and gone alone, she’ll always answer any questions or if you struggle with a situation will always be there to lend you more help over the phone. Lisa and Maggie were so lovely, we had a video call with Lisa who gave us really useful tips to help settle our new puppy at home, and then Maggie visited us at home to walk us through some really helpful training tips. So many things that we just wouldn't have thought of and they really helped us to understand our pups needs leading to a much happier household! we then went on to join the puppies in progress classes which were really well run and it definitely helps put training into practice when you have someone there to point you in the right direction. Thanks ladies!

The puppy in progress course is great just what we needed and Obi loved the classes! The ongoing support from Lisa and Maggie along with the Facebook group is superb!

Lisa has been amazing to work with! One of my adopted dogs came to us with handling issues and would resort to biting during nail trim attempts which broke my heart. I reached out to her after she was referred to me in a Facebook group and I am so glad I did! We have been doing virtual (I live in 🇨🇦) cooperative care sessions since spring of 2021 and we are continuing these sessions together and last week I was able to trim 3 of his nails and he was not concerned whatsoever! I am so thankful to have crossed paths with Lisa, she has also been so accommodating for our time difference. Highly recommend!!

Really helpful training walk with Lisa today. She understands Rhodesian Ridgebacks in a way many trainers don't. Good to know I was on the right track but still learnt some useful distraction techniques & changed my timing too keep excitement levels low, very pleased 😊

We had such a good 1-1 training session with Lisa and learnt some really useful tips to go forward. She had an instant affinity with our pup and it was obvious we were going to learn lots. She even advised us on the best equipment to use such as leads and harnesses. After our lesson she sent a long detailed summery of everything she had taught and mentioned as it's easy to forget when you are trying to take everything in whilst training. Overall we found it so useful. We now need to practice, practice and practice but I would have no hesitation in using her again.
